Jones Family Reunion!

Josh and I were so excited to go back to Wyoming! When we got off the airplane in Colorado, we both said it felt like we were home. I can't wait to go back in two weeks! The Jones family reunion was a blast! 10 of the 11 Jones children were there, and Hannah, Josh's sister, only didn't make it because she is expecting twins. But she made sure to send two of her amazing daughters to represent.

We had lots of family games, great food, amazing company, and luxury as we stayed in the log home made by Josh's dad. It was definitely a much needed relaxing trip for Josh and I. We can't wait to go to the next Jones family gathering.

CALIFORNIA

So I went home to Sunny California earlier this month! I was busy everyday for the three weeks I was there. I got there July 6th and surprised my parents by getting there a week earlier than my original plan. It was sad to leave Josh in Arkansas, but it was so great to spend some time with my parents. It was a weird feeling because it was the first time I had been there by myself since before I was married. It felt like I was living at home again, just like I used to... but this time I was 6 months pregnant. Apparently my parents also felt this way because they were quick to tell me to stop wearing high heels and spoil me rotten everyday.

I had my baby shower at my sister's house; It was beautiful! I was overwhelmed by the support from family and friends. My sister put so much effort into the food and decorations, and it was very apparent. Everything turned out absolutely perfect!

Josh came out on the 17th, and I was SO happy to see him!!! We were excited to go to the Garbett family reunion and see all of my family. We drove up to Zions camp in Northern California ready for the upcoming adventures. We absolutely had a blast! Camping, board games, s'mores, laughter, swimming, family, boat racing, camp fires, candy, paddle boats and lots of other fun things filled out schedules. We also made sure to get lots of family pictures.

California was great, but I didn't want to  leave Josh again. Josh had to go back to work on the 22, and I was supposed to stay until Aug 2nd. However, we decided it would be better for us to be together. So I changed my flight and went back to Arkansas. We stayed there for a week then packed up our apartment in Little Rock. Where are we now, you ask... Holiday Inn! Yep, that's right. For the next 3 weeks, we will be living in a hotel (scratch that), motel in Northern AR, so Josh has a new area to knock.

This weekend we are headed to Wyoming to go to the Jones family reunion, but we will be back in our motel next Sunday! I'll make sure to keep everyone updated on our upcoming adventures!

Happy Father's Day!

I made this video as a Father's Day present for Josh. It is also a present for all of the other fathers because you will find it quite entertaining. I apologize in advance for the poor editing skills. However, the candid material caught on video completely makes up for it!

Trying on maturnity clothes

GIRL or BOY?????

So, we went to the Dr. Wednesday and found out what we are going to have! Luckily, it's a baby... not a monkey. We have received many inquiries on the gender of our soon-to-be newest addition, so we decided to let everyone know through our blog. However, as you all know, Josh and I like to make a big deal about everything. We also like to make a big deal about ourselves. Therefore, in order to find out the sex of our baby, we have put together a little trivia questionnaire.

Here's how it works:
Answer all of the questions with whom you think the facts belong. The gender of the baby is the same gender as the name answered most often. I.E. more answers Josh= Boy, more answers Aubree= Girl.

Now get your pen and paper ready and see how well you know Josh and Aubree.

Josh or Aubree
1. Who is older?
2. Who graduated early from high school?
3. Whose high school mascot was the Indians?
4. Who Speaks Spanish Fluently?
5. Who volunteered at a dance camp for underprivileged children?
6. Who kick-boxes for exercise?
7. Who had a pet dog named Brutus... and still cries about the lethal injection that he/she thought for years was actually carried out by a shotgun because his/her older siblings told him/her that?
8.Who currently has the most cavities?
9. Whose favorite T.V. show is America's Next Top Model?
10.Whose favorite fruit is Mango?
11. Who dressed in a Moose costume as a mascot for a summer job?
12.Who was voted "Best Looking" in Junior high?
13.Who is working this summer?
14.Who served his/her mission where they send the prettiest missionaries?
15. Who plays the Piano?
16. Who doesn't like green candy?
Please refer to figure 26.12 to answer question 17-18.

Keeping up with the Joneses

Ok! First of all let me just admit how much of a slacker I have been with keeping this blog updated. I know, I suck. Now that we got that all over with, let me try to catch you up on our lives...

Josh and I are having a lot of changes coming up very soon. I put in my notice  to leave my job at Ark Regional Services as a dance instructor for adults and children with intellectual disabilities. I am very sad to leave them, but excited for a change.
Josh has Finals this coming week. It is bitter sweet. We are glad to get this semester over with; however, the changes that come after this week are nerve wracking... Josh has accepted a summer job to sell home security systems through Vivint.(<---- click here for more info) Therefore, we will be moving to Little Rock, Arkansas for the summer. He heard about this opportunity through his childhood best friend, Brock. Brock is already in AR selling, and he is seeing lots of success. Josh is flying out May 6th, but I am staying in Laramie for two weeks after, so I can be here for a dance recital my students have been working on. We are excited for an adventure and an opportunity for Josh to expand his sales knowledge. Josh is looking forward to spending the summer with his childhood bestie. I will also note that Josh is VERY excited for me to stop working so I have more time to cook and clean. :)

On my way to AR (I am driving all by myself ), I am going to make a stop in Texas to expand my teaching knowledge. I am going to attend an all day training to become a certified Turbo Kick instructor. My sister-in-law, Emily, introduced me to Turbo Fire last year, and that is how I got into great shape for my wedding. I even had to have my dress taken in. Every Turbo Kick class I attend gets me so excited and pumped, I don't even feel like I'm working out. I am SO excited to receive certification to bring that excitement to my own classes when I decide to start teaching.

In July we are planning a trip to California to attend the Garbett family reunion. Josh won't be able to take off too much time, so he will only come out for a few days. I plan on going for a few weeks. Early August we are attending the Jones family reunion in Lander, WY. We are excited to see the finished product of his parents log house. Then we will return to AR for a few weeks more of selling.

We are moving to a new apartment in Laramie, so while we are away, our things will remain in Storage. When we return mid August, we will move into our new 2 bedroom apartment. This apartment is only a mile away from campus, so Josh can still bike to school (he loves doing that... I don't get it).

As you can see, this summer is going to be a fun filled adventure! We are ready to try new things and do lots of traveling. I will be better at keeping you all up to date. I'm sure I will have lots more time on my hands!

Oh, and by the way, we're going to have a baby in September...
